It’s an art, an audio-visual art that looks at reflecting the society, attempts to mold the thought-process and hope to create a desirable world through their story-telling. Content has evolved and in the world where women are still held back for simply their gender, sexual preferences or life choices; there are some films doing the rounds on YouTube that you must watch.

Let’s take a moment to hear what the queen of pop has to say. Beyoncé had chopped off and sewed a bunch of music videos together into an 11 minute black and white documentary that portrayed her thoughts on love, aging, fame, parenthood, and feminism.  Absolutely motivational and artsy, this is something you must watch.

Hoping to bring in education for girls as mainstream conversations, the message is spread across the globe.

The content of this film revives the hidden history of all the women who founded the modern women’s movement from 1966 to 1971. This inspirational film looks at getting people passionate towards feminism and human rights.

Depicting the revolution through intimate interviews, archival films, footage and art, this film reveals how they combined free speech and politics to fundamentally evolve art and culture. Surfacing the history of testimonials of women who were suppressed, this film speaks volumes for feminism.
