Looking back, where did it all begin?

I have always found joy in fashion, it began with my dad getting me cute purses, dresses and accessories which I would style in various ways. I would often draw with my mom’s eyeliner, nail paints (shhh... it’s a secret ;)). I always knew that blogging, content curation was deep inside me and it spurted out during college time. When I started my Roposo account to have my own creative abode in the form of a blog and Roposo.

What's in the name? 

So the name of my blog is Fiana Fashion Forward (an alliteration) that gives updates of upcoming fashion, beauty trends with a sprinkle of lifestyle bits.

What is your USP in this cluttered space? How does your content give you an edge?

I always conceptualise my creatives and shoots so as to they stay timeless. I believe that good quality content remains relevant for a long time since most people can relate to it.

Please take us through your content creation process. How do you stay relevant and relatable?

Whenever I see something unique it inspires me deeply. If I really like the colour of a flower, a bird I try to create a similar eyeshadow look or an outfit combination. I also make it a point to include things which are within everyone’s reach. I will always include affordable options so that nobody is left out.

How do you make moolah with your efforts?

My main aim is to produce quality content, money being the last thing on my mind. I love to help people and give a smile on their face! If they are happy with viewing my blog, YouTube channel or social media channels that is my greatest accomplishment.

How do you maintain editorial objectivity with the influx of brand briefs?

I always try to view the product from a consumers eye. I try to test it out on various conditions and portray truly whatever I feel about it. The brand’s ideology is closely observed and kept in mind whilst staying true and transparent to my audience.

One instance/experience that made it all worthwhile

The most worthwhile experience was receiving the most coveted Palladium DIY Blogger Award in 2017. It was my calling to strive farther and never give up on my passion.

Weirdest brand brief/request ever

It was a total review and video tutorial of the product only mentioning the positive part of the product and not including any negatives! It was totally unacceptable.

If not blogging, you would be?

I would be a makeup artist at Sephora or a pet sitter!

A day in your life....

A day in my life involves travelling to work, coming back to my loved ones, creating and planning content, shooting flat lays and having yummy ghar ka khana!
