Leveraging the theme of sustainability & climate change, brands reinforce the importance of contributing towards nature with Earth Hour 2020 brand creatives.
The Earth Hour, first, commenced in 2007 in Sydney, Australia by WWF and partners to become what it is today. With the COVID-19 outbreak, this movement will be celebrated between 8:30-9:30 PM digitally by WWF and by various countries worldwide. Brand leverage the momentum with Earth Hour 2020 brand creatives.
While nations unite to contribute to the #EarthHour2020, brands come together to support the cause with their creative posts. Taking a cue from the 2020 theme of the event of sustainability & climate change, individuals and brand posts get on the bandwagon to spread the message.
But what does the Earth Hour mean to people at a time when most are huddled at home? It means a moment of solidarity, a method to get together with the smallest act of contributing towards nature. One can contribute to this cause by simply switching off all the unnecessary lights at their houses to showcase their commitment for 60 minutes. In-line with this thought, brand creatives followed suit.
Some brands like Milton share that it's always bright after dark, while brands like Starbucks India highlight how small acts of sustainability can contribute to the environment. While Zoomcar reinforces how essential it is to give the planet Earth a much-needed break, Magicbricks urges people to stay at home and switch off lights in solidarity for an hour.
