Brands partake in the United Nations' quest to encourage awareness and action for the conservation of our environment with World Environment Day Campaigns.
Newly discovered reports suggest we may be headed towards the sixth mass extinction, but it's never too late to not give up, and it's dawn when you wake up. Ergo, World World Environment Day Campaigns ascend to inspire change.
Only launching a campaign highlighting the importance of the environment on a single day, then going back to destroying it all around the year is not enough.
On that account, this year observed a number of brands highlighting their efforts to improve for a better tomorrow and manufacture while being considerate towards the resources they use, with their World Environment Day Campaigns.
Decathlon highlights their environment-friendly approach with their campaign and has established a goal of designing 100% of the new products using an eco-design approach by 2021, and aims to have 100% of eco-designed products by 2026.
ITC highlights their efforts of afforestation and more practices such as 41% of the energy consumed by them being through renewable sources. Oriflame India, Lakmé Salon, and more brands highlight their measures to maintain eco-friendly operations,
Tencel India, a sustainable fashion brand apprises us of the biodiversity of nature and they also launched a campaign called #LoveLettersToNature to encourage people into taking actionable measures to address environmental issues.
Finolex Pipes in association with Mukul Madhav Foundation and WOW Skin Science notify us about the digital trash contributing to climate change.
Actions inspire more than words can, hopefully, the brands that have highlighted their actions into creating a sustainable environment will inspire all consumers to change.
More brands & organizations support the movement.
