Global Handwashing Day, the initiative undertaking the pursuit of promoting handwashing habits is being amplified with brand campaigns & creatives.
Global Handwashing Day was established in 2008 by Global Handwashing Partnership with a vision to promote handwashing as a crucial habit to globally and locally establish it as a crucial factor for disease prevention, and the core narrative of the campaigns & creatives mirrors this notion.
Handwashing is the least expensive way to prevent diarrhea and few respiratory infections, and through the years we have several campaigns such as Lifebuoy's 'Help A Child Reach 5' and Saaf Haath Mein Dum Hai Ft. Sachin Tendulkar by UNICEF, but with the ongoing pandemic, such communications now hold increased importance.
As along with remaining socially distant, and wearing a mask, handwashing and sanitization are some of the most effective ways to limit the spread of the virus and also not be infected, the communications are set in the backdrop of handwashing as a precautionary measure.
Several brands and organizations promote hand hygiene for the greater good.
