Make way for the special #Decor Moments in April 2017!
With April came the intense heatwave. On the brighter side (pun intended) we found some cool decor moments that seemingly soothed the harsh sun rays seeping in our modest homes.
After all the research, monochrome was the trend of the month. Solemn greys and the combination of black and white is the new favourite. And these shades are bound to give you a lot of exterior paint design ideas. No orange is the new black here.
Contrasting black and white has a very calming effect, on me at least. And did you notice the mugs with letters in bold on them? The show stealers, however, are the photographs printed in black and white. Smart set up!
Tiny couch adorned with those printed cushion covers – monochrome at its best! The cushions cover especially work for me, simple and very classy prints.
Black has all the sass and class one can ever wish for. And then add the sheer magnificence of solid black to it! Place it against any wall, any colour, and you have a winner!
The next trend I would say were faded colours embellished in rugs, lamps, chairs, and well in our very hearts.
Adding to the beauty of monochrome is the round faded red rug. The black border adds to the aesthetics with definite simplicity.
Simplicity came across as the single strongest décor voice this month – cane chairs, old yet one of the cheapest, simple, and beautiful adorning options. Place it any corner and place some pretty plants around it, you have a winner!
Subtle colours and shades of blue, grey, white and black were the décor style statement of the month. Are there any trends that crossed your path? Let us know in the comments below? Also, you can check out the decor moments from 2017 here.
