Twitter analytics platform is finally open to public and not restricted only to the advertisers. Head over to analytics.twitter.com login and click on the Analytics tab to see the performance of your tweets and followers. You could also know the location of your followers, who else they follow etc.
According to Twitter, the product provides three key benefits:
- Understand how much your website content is being shared across the Twitter network
- See the amount of traffic Twitter sends to your site
- Measure the effectiveness of your Tweet Button integration
We tried giving it a spin with our @Social_Samosa account but couldn't really find much data, guess its still building and will take some time to get integrated.
Twitter Web Analytics will be rolled out this week to a small group of people and will be available for everyone in the coming few weeks. Wonder how this will affect the third party analytics apps? Would be interesting to see what other features Twitter rolls out in the coming months.
