Google is testing it's latest venture called Helpouts which is a new way to connect people who need help with people who can give help, over live video, any time, anywhere. The service will be tied up with Google+ and Hangouts.
This service isn't live yet. Google is still gathering people who have expertise across a number of topics. There are currently eight categories listed under the Helpouts support page, which include: Home & Garden, Computers & Electronics, Health & Counselling, Nutrition & Fitness, Fashion & Beauty, Art & Music, Cooking and Education.
Experts can charge for their services or give them for free. Though Google will take a fee of 20% for any paid helpout. To create a Helpout one needs to provide proof of their qualifications such as certificates, training and experience.
Google has come up with a good initiative for interactive learning but will there be a time where organizations and companies will sell their services on this platform? Let us know what you think by commenting below.
