It is a great opportunity for professional, amateur or aspiring photographers to give their talent a well-known social media platform.

To become an Incredible India photographer, the participant is expected to upload a picture on their Google+ home screen showcasing #IncredibleIndia.

The photo should have been clicked by the participant and must contain the hashtag #IncredibleIndia. It is also necessary that the picture be made public.

The most appealing photos will be shared on the special page created by Google.

Three best photographers will be judged and declared by the Indian Tourism Ministry. These photographers will be the privileged guests of the Ministry and will receive a travel and lodging expenses paid week long trip to any preferred destination in India. Besides this, there are 6 more quick trips to be won as weekly prizes.

The best pictures shared from around the world on Google+, with the hashtag #IncredibleIndia will be curated and shared on a special landing page (http://goo.gl/slJiE9) on google.com. You can also see the buzzing live photo-stream within Google+ by searching for #IncredibleIndia.

There is no border or nationality restriction in this competition, so if you're an Indian or have visited India sometime back, you can post your pictures and participate. The contest is scheduled to end on 16th October 2013.
