Social Wavelength - A Social Media Agency used Salesforce Radian6 to monitor conversations about the Auto Expo 2014, which was sure to be the most talked about event related to the Auto Industry in India. They configured Radian6 to capture conversations which used the keyword #AutoExpo2014 and the phrase "Auto Expo". Once the tool captured these results, they set up a host of searches within these first level results to find brand wise data.
While this was done for the purpose of the Expo, they've seen this kind of analysis go a long way to understand effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotional events, among other things.
