Facebook has announced the roll-out of its new look for Pages on Desktop, thereby, making it easier for users to access the information they are looking for. It will also help Page Admins find the tools they use most. This streamlined look will be out on the web this week.
Let us take through some of its key features:
Updated page timeline design
The right-side column of the timeline will display all the Page’s post which means that all of the posts will simultaneously appear consistently on the Page and in News Feed.
The left-side column of the timeline displays information about the business, including a map, the hours of business, phone number and website URL which also includes the photos as well as the videos.
Easier Access To Key Admin Tools
One of the most striking features of this lay-out is that a user can directly view information about the ads that he is running and new likes on the Page, as well as unread notifications and messages. Furthermore, there is a “This Week” section which also stores further details regarding the same.
Some navigation options have also been added to the top of the Page, making it easier to access the activity, insights and settings. The “Build Audience” menu at the top of the Page offers direct access to the Page’s “Ad Manager” accounts.
Pages to Watch
Alongside the new design of Pages, Facebook is also coming up with new “Pages to Watch” feature in the Page Insight tool to all admins. It allows admins to create a list of Pages similar to their own and compare the performance of their Page with that of the businesses they care about.
Admins will be able to see some key statistics about the Pages that they are watching on the “Overview” tab of Page Insights. Also, the “Posts” tab of Page Insights includes a feature to view the past week’s most engaging posts from the Pages they are already watching.
