This is a part of a series where we pick data from the MTS Election Tracker, crunch numbers and build a graphical representation of them. We have used Konnect Social to track the data along with support from our knowledge partner, Social Rajneeti.
The race for the 2014 general elections is hotter than ever. Political parties on social media are leaving no stone unturned to leave their mark on voters' mind as they ramp up their activities on major social media platforms.
Going by the numbers, AAP is a clear leader on Twitter, ahead of BJP by a considerable margin whereas Congress hardly makes its presence felt. Similarly, Youtube is governed by BJP and AAP. BJP occupies a major chunk of Facebook following followed by Congress and AAP is fast catching up with them.
Conclusively, if numbers are to be believed, BJP and AAP have taken social media by storm while Congress is far behind them.
