Deadly Bouncer Claims The Life Of Young Cricketer Phillip Hughes

It was a huge loss for the cricketing world when Phillip Hughes aged just 25 succumbed to his head injury at a Sydney hospital after sustaining a deadly bouncer to his head during Sheffield Shield game on Tuesday.

Hughes was a favorite among the critics who had become the youngest player to to achieve the feat of scoring a century is each innings of the Test match against South Africa. Following his head injury, Hughes never regained consciousness, according to Australia Team Doctor Peter Brukner. Several of Hughes team mates paid regular visits to the hospital which included all the key members of the Australian squad.

Shocked and saddened by the untimely demise of such a young cricketer, the  cricketing fraternity took to Twitter to reflect on such a huge loss. Take a look.
