Twitter Launches While You Were Away Feature

Twitter has launched 'While you were away' for iOS users and is soon to introduce it on the Android app and Twitter.com soon.

As the Twitter blog puts it  'a lot can happen on the go. To fill in some of those gaps, we will surface some of the best Tweets you probably wouldn't have seen otherwise.' It is a recap on the home timeline of the top Tweets one might have missed from the accounts followed. The Tweets are determined by engagement and other factors. If a person is checking Twitter once in a while then this post will appear more often but if one is active then it will be less often.

Twitter's goal is to help one keep up-or catch up- with the world, regardless of the time spent on Twitter.
