Social Samosa Platform Feature - Frankly.me

About the Platform

An organization which came into play because of the shared vision of two IITians, Frankly.me is an Android and iOS based application which is going to revolutionize social networking. It enables users to interact with friends, favourites, public figures and even companies through video selfies, moving on from the usual notion of communicating through text. Users can pose questions directly to other users, to which they will receive a reply via video selfie.

The application aims to introduce people to a whole new virtual world where they can interact and comment however they like to, without compromising on their personal expression.

Our Founder Nikunj Jain and Co-founder Abhishek Gupta head a strong 60 member team from the Noida head office.

Whom do we cater to?

Any person who feels that text based communication is not enough to speak out and express freely.

What do we offer to our consumers?

Frankly.me aims to move on from text and provide its users with a platform which offers them the best and the most unrestrained medium for interaction- video selfies. It ensures a user of a platform wherein they can be frank, and express openly, without having to worry about being misinterpreted or misunderstood over text. Apart for their friends and followers, users also get to interact with public figures, address them directly and get a video response from them.

What motivated us to start up?

The lack of a more human form of communication lead us to create a platform where people can interact and express however they want to. We felt that simple text has been limiting our personal expression by being restrictive, especially when it came to our feelings and opinions. Therefore, we decided to create something which bridges this gap and gives people a more reliable as well as fun way to interact.

What's in a name?

Legend says that our founder Nikunj Jain, was in logjam regarding the name situation. During one such brainstorming session with his team, a member was shooting ideas, though under his breath. When this went on for a good few minutes, Nikunj blurted out asking him to "Share his ideas FRANKLY". And the rest is history..!
