About the tool!
Vidooly is a YouTube intelligent marketing and analytics suite that helps content creators, brands, and multi-channel networks (MCNs), to maximize their YouTube organic views, build an audience base and earn more revenues on YouTube. A video is the most important aspect of any form of social media today hence Vidooly helps content creators effectively monitor all the traffic to their videos and in turn monetize them.
Who founded the product/company?
Vidooly was launched in November 2014 by Subrat Kar, Ajay Mishra, and Nishant Radia.
The reason the tool exists is that YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world, next only to Google. More than 300 hours of video is being uploaded on YouTube every minute, out of which 90% of the videos generate less than 10,000 views in the first one-month. Currently, content creators are putting a lot of efforts to create good quality content, but the problem is that they find it difficult in targeting the right kind of audience to watch their content. This is where Vidooly steps in.
What platforms does it cover?
As of now Vidooly supports videos hosted on Youtube but as the platform expands it will also include videos hosted on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. The majority of the videos hosted on the internet today, across various the online domains such as social media sites, websites, apps etc originate on Youtube which then get shared across the social sphere. Videos are also one of the most engaging forms of content today but in an increasingly crowded online space where creators are jostling for audience engagement and attention, Vidooly plays an important role in helping creators produce content that matches the audience's needs.
Features of the tool?
“Crunching data is one thing, but building a layer of technology on top of it to give intelligent insights is where the fun begins, and this is where Vidooly starts generating value for the eco-system,” said Ajay Mishra, CTO & Co-founder of Vidooly.
