NASSCOM social Innovation Forum aims to seek technology driven solution to create sustained social impact. It is a ‘Tech for Good’ platform that supports technology based solutions to address critical gaps in key development areas.

This year the Forum will focus on innovations in the areas of- skills and employability, primary and secondary education, healthcare, women’s safety and accessibility. Additionally, there will also be an open category for those innovations addressing any ‘Other Social Causes’.

NSIF will also extend its reach and engagement with social enterprises and not for profits. This is envisaged by providing select organisations with high potential innovations, support in the form of mentoring and catalytic grants. A total of upto Rs 60 Lakhs in grants will be given by the Forum’s supporters Genpact and Mphasis to innovations in the areas of Skills and Employability as part of the Genpact Reach Higher Program and Primary and Secondary Education for Mphasis respectively. The support is provided with the aim of creating deeper and more sustained impact to beneficiaries at the bottom of the pyramid.
