Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav managed to take Twitter by storm with the release of his mobile application - Samajwadi Akhilesh. The application aims at bridging a communication for Yadav and the netizens of India.
Through the mobile app, users will get direct notifications from the CM. Additionally; there will be feeds from Facebook and Twitter, along with an achievement feed. Users will also be able to check out on going government initiatives through the app.

"Currently CM has strong presence on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. We have added one additional channel for people to stay connected with CM," a senior party leader said. "Besides CM's achievements, feeds from FB and Twitter, videos and interviews of CM, one can also read and share news related to him. The applications also highlights initiatives and achievements of SP," he said. Samajwaadi Akhilesh is currently available in English and Hindi.
