Unmetric, the only social media intelligence platform focused on brands, today launched Sense, a mobile app that allows marketers to monitor all of their competitors in real time through a single live stream of campaign images, videos and hashtags that brands are putting out.
Today, every single piece of content a brand produces is published to its social media profiles, but it’s a challenge for marketers to constantly move from network to network and stay on top of all of these brand signals. Sense pulls all of these signals together in single content stream, making it easy for busy marketers to keep competitors in their line of sight, and get a sense of what they're up to.
Sense is an independent mobile app, separate from Unmetric’s social media intelligence platform already being used by more than 200 leading global brands and agencies across 18 countries to benchmark their social efforts against competing brands. Unmetric is first rolling out Sense to its existing clients and will make the app more broadly available through special invite leading up to public availability in the Apple and Google app stores.
“Customers and competitors are the two things every marketer constantly thinks about,” said Lux Narayan, CEO of Unmetric. “While there are market research and applications like Survey Monkey for customer intel, there is nothing simple for competitive intelligence. We created Sense to fill this unmet need and to be the easiest way for any marketer - from digital strategists to CMOs - to stay abreast of competition anytime, anywhere.”
“Social Media rapidly evolves and more brands are focusing their efforts in the space,” said Yuri Pereira, Global Social Media Strategist for The Coca-Cola Company. “Unmetric Sense is the perfect app to quickly visualize competitors' content and campaigns. It’s essentially a newsfeed with Unmetric’s competitive intelligence capabilities.”
"Unmetric's Sense embodies the consumerization of enterprise software, where smart insights and design converge for marketers, available anytime, anywhere, the same way consumers have come to expect," said Greg Stuart, Global CEO of The Mobile Marketing Association.
After installing Sense on their phones, users can select the competitors they want to monitor from among Unmetric’s database of more than 35,000 brands spanning over 25 industry sectors. Sense currently pulls images and video content from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, with YouTube being added in the coming months. The content stream is image-based and auto-captioned for easy perusal, but users can tap individual posts for full text and engagement metrics. Users can also bookmark specific pieces of content for future reference and email these to colleagues directly from the app.
Unmetric clients with Pro, Pro+, Premium and Agency accounts can immediately get access to Sense for iOS and Android. For further details or to request an invite code, visit www.unmetric.com/sense.
