Asian Paints IDIA: First ever Decor Influencer Awards

If it were brand ambassadors who catalysed the good fate of a product on television, it is now influencers who do the same across social media. An integral sect of the social ecosystem – influencers have evolved as new age ambassadors; somehow still aren’t acknowledged for the same.

With a hope to acknowledge, appreciate and amplify influencers’ contribution in the home decor space, Asian Paints in association with Social Samosa initiates first ever Indian Decor Influencer Awards (IDIA).

Asian Paints IDIA focuses on spotting social media influencers’ passionate about colours, interiors, and fittings blended with a deep mystical love for words. Be it a 140 character tweet or a picture that speaks 1400 words – a piece describing decor art that resonates with interior lovers will be recognised at IDIA’s Wall of Influencers.

In this pioneering effort, Asian Paints strives to re-affirm its stance in the digital sphere by offering a window of opportunity to every influencer through the Wall of Influencers.

Categories in IDIA span across various demographics, including - Best Women’s Decor Blog, Best Men’s Decor Blog, Decor Instagrammer of the Year, Décor Twitterati of the Year, Décor Blogger of the Year, Facebook Décorista of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Innovative Décor Star, Best Home/Interior Décor Brand Blog of the Year and Home/Interior Décor Influencer of the Year.

A big shout out to all decor influencers out there! All you have to do is register yourself here and hop on the IDIA bandwagon. You also have the window to nominate that influencer friend who might not do it by his/herself.

Schlesinger Associates suggests that 84% of marketing and communications professionals will launch at least one influencer marketing campaign in the next 12 months. Influencers and influencer marketing will only be moving northward and it is high time the industry comes together to recognize this space with vigour.
