Over 100 entries and nominations –first edition of Asian Paints Indian Decor Influencer Awards is buzzing in the home and interior space. Asian Paints and Social Samosa take great pleasure in introducing the jury in their initiative towards acknowledging the work of influencers in this space.
The presiding jury panel consists of personalities that belong to various walks of the home and decor industry.
Here’s a shout out to the esteemed jury members.
Ashish Goel, CEO & Co-Founder, Urban Ladder has been able to visualise his dream of making the website of the largest online furniture hub. Today, Urban Ladder is one of the choicest decor, furnishing and fitting destinations in India.
After his graduation from IIT- Mumbai and MBA from IIM- Bangalore, Goel joined McKinsey & Company as Engagement Manager and led project teams across banking, healthcare and real estate clients for over 4 years.
Goel then went on to serve as Managing Director of India Book House and Chief Operating Officer at Amar Chitra Katha Media where he worked on developing a portfolio of products that use innovative technology and India-centric content. He played a key role in expanding ACK’s reach by strengthening distribution in India and key foreign markets, launching online services, and partnering with TV, film and other mass media.
With a furnishing and decor expert on board, next personality on the panel is literally the ‘God’ of influencing.
Anaggh Desai, Observational Marketer & Blogger, refers to himself as “entrepreneur by Attitude, employee by choice.” Having worked across industries and geographies ranging from hospitality, logistics, travel, e-commerce, and retail in his 25 + year career span, there is little he has not seen or done.
As a freewheeling 'Mindcaster' and digital nomad, he embraced the social media wave, which helps his passion of observational marketing.
Desai writes on retail, experiences, and customer loyalty on his website, besides contributing to BW Marketing white book and DNA.
In addition to contributing to other websites, an ardent food lover Anaggh, blogs on anaggh.com. He helps firms, brands, and entrepreneurs create behaviour and deliver experiences thereby creating value, besides being on the board of advisors to start-ups.
The final name on the IDIA panel is a wordsmith who views decor from the lens of language.
Sneha Ullal Goel, Managing Editor, ELLE DECOR India has a developing eye for great design and architecture, two dear subjects of constant research. Post a brief stint in advertising, Sneha realised she's not suited for short and sweet copy but splendidly long-form stories instead.
Since that light bulb realisation, she's been a production whizz kid, writer and editor for eight years now, having previously worked for publications such as Better Photography, Femina, Brown Paper Bag and Impact/Exchange4media, and having dabbled in freelance music journalism too.
