Twitter celebrated its 10th birthday on March 21st and Quikr jumped on the opportunity taking twitterati on a nostalgia route with its campaign.
Objective
The idea was to rejoice 10 years of Twitter which resonates well with tweeples, urging everyone to join in the conversation. They aimed at driving massive engagement and participation from the users.

Execution
March 21st marked the day the first ever tweet was sent out. To commemorate the same and to bring to life the love that users have for this platform, the brand invited users to share one of their firsts on Twitter with #MyFirstOnTwitter.
It could be anything like the first tweet, the first follower, the first time they trolled something or someone. Well, it was an open canvas. For users, this was a refreshing change from the existing melee.

With users and celebrities sharing their favourite moments, brands too hopped on the bus adding to the fund.

Did you know: Romedy NOW joined twitter in August 2013! #MyFirstOnTwitter

Result
True to their nature, the twitterati responded with a bit of nostalgia, a bit of fun, and a bit of good old trolling. The campaign went on to become a huge success with over 48 million impressions in just a day.
Quikr managed to perform well by targeting audience through their favourite moment, rather than making it a brand-centric conversation.
