Arun Raman fills the chair of the National Planning Head at GREY

GREY group India appointed Arun Raman as the National Planning Head. With Arun on board, the agency adds a new dimension to its Creative, Servicing and Digital partnerships which remain focused on creating famously effective work.

Arun Raman will lead the agency's Strategy offering across its offices in India. He will be based in Mumbai, reporting to Sunil Lulla, Chairman and Managing Director, GREY group India.

On Arun’s appointment, Sunil Lulla, Chairman and Managing Director, GREY group India said, “We welcome Arun back. Arun’s stellar experience and understanding of brands across numerous branding disciplines is truly remarkable. Arun returns to GREY group from Lowe Lintas, where, as the Executive Director, he worked across India and Sri Lanka on an array of clients such as Tata Beverages, Unilever, Axis Bank, Britannia and Indian Rayon amongst others. His strategic stewardship for Mullen Lowe Sri Lanka, saw the organization win the coveted “Agency of the Year 2015” at the Effie’s Sri Lanka 2016.

In an extensive career spanning of over 23 years, Raman has worked with well-known brand communication companies in India such as Lowe, StrawberryFrog/ Famous, Publicis, GREY, DDB Mudra and FCB Ulka, along with extensive consumer management experience internationally. Financial, FMCG, Textiles, Automobiles, Beverages, Real Estate, Telecom, Corporate etc. are few sectors he has worked on.

His marketing and strategic development expertise has helped strengthen the equity for brands such as Titan, Raymonds and Mahindra as well.

Arun Raman holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing), Pune University. Raman unwinds from the pressures of advertising with music from the sixties and seventies, solving crosswords, following news and trends the world over.
