Millions of Bigg Boss fans in India are excited as their favourite TV show just arrived and Twitter is the place to be if you want to discuss it with like minded fans.
The microblogging platform unveiled a specially designed emoji for the popular reality show for its fans to tweet, interact and join the conversation by using the exclusive hashtags, #BB10 , #BiggBoss and #BiggBoss10 in order to use the emoji.
The first such instance in India, never before has an Indian TV show received its own emoji. Designed to look exactly like the classic logo associated with the show; the emoji specially curated by Twitter is an eye and will appear on using the hashtag in a tweet.

In order to harness the phenomenal buzz and anticipation that has lingered for months, Twitter has provided an opportunity for the show host, Salman Khan to connect with the millions of fans.

Twitter is the place to be for real time news, engagement and conversation and having an exclusive emoji for the show gives the show’s fans a sense of exclusivity. Things went according to plan for Twitter and Bigg Boss as the conversations around the reality show generated more than 1,11,000 tweets on the day of the premiere episode.
An increase of more than 44% was observed, compared to conversation on the day of Bigg Boss’ premiere episode last year. The show was in its 9th season last year, and over the course of the entire season, generated more than 5.7 million tweets, an increase of more than 70% as compared to season 8. A testimony to the growing popularity and Twitter’s open arms policy towards the show.
With the newly established relationship between Twitter and Bigg Boss, the two expect to make new records in terms of engagement.
