Things are quickly moving from bad to worse for Twitter, as yet another key management leader tendered his resignation, soon after Twitter India Head, Rishi Jaitly disclosed the news of his departure.
Close on the heels of Jaitly's exit Parminder Singh, MD, Twitter India, South East Asia and MENA, who worked for the company for three years called the quits.
Singh took to Twitter itself to reveal his future course, and of the company as he tweeted to let the world know that it was time to move on.
An update. After leading Twitter in Asia's most exciting markets (India/SEA/MENA) for 3 yrs, time to move on to new passions #BeenAPrivilege

Maya Hari, Senior director, Product Strategy and Sales for the Asia Pacific, Latin America, Middle East and Africa regions will be taking over Singh’s duties.
INSEA will be managed by @maya_hari and MENA by @bampen. Both great professionals, have worked with me closely & well suited to drive growth

Globally, Twitter faces a doomsday like situation as the company continues to experience stagnant user numbers, whereas India is one of the more higher yielding regions for the microblogging site.
A news report by Hindustan Times published after Rishi Jaitly quit Twitter, it was speculated that Parminder Singh may also quit the trouble struck social media platform for greener pastures.
It was also reported that Arvinder Gujral, Senior Director, Business Development and Raheel Khursheed, Head of News, Government, Tech and other portfolios, India market may follow suit.
Although the situation may not be as grim as it appears as the report further added,“Twitter is looking to focus on higher advertising revenue, with a leaner and flexible team focussing on building a sales and marketing team in India, in line with the company’s global strategy.”
Judging by the current scenario, two key figures resigning within days of each other with reports of more to follow suit is not good for a company already mired in distress.
How Twitter handles would be keenly observed as all eyes are on them and all bets against.
