Tata Sky is back with their brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan, in their latest campaign #AbActingKiBaari. The campaign features Big B, as a small towner, with a zest to act.
The adorable protagonist is a struggling actor trying to make it to their local Ramleela group. His audition however, doesn’t go well, as he struggles with confidence and voice modulation and is given the role of a tree. Bachchan is then shown by a fellow participant how it is done. The latter attributes his immense acting skills to Tata Sky’s new property, Acting Adda.
The two-minute-long video is produced by F The Couch. The campaign is based on strong storytelling fundamentals which is conveyed in multiple videos, and relies of Big B’s charm and skills. The next videos show Bachchan practicing acting skills with Acting Adda’s help.
The final video in the story is about Bachchan barging on the stage to flaunt his newly acquired skills for the role of Raavan, successfully getting the role.
With slight comedy, the husband-wife banter, and the small town set up, the campaign is what a typical Bachchan starrer would look like.
