Yellout is is a first of its kind integrated video recording and engagement plugin for enterprise, business and government.
Enterprises have used “one-to-many” video broadcasting for decades, but there is no platform that has effectively addressed the area of “Many-to-One” reverse broadcasting i.e. user generated video engagement until Yellout.
Yellout enables enterprise, business and government to instantly create video campaigns, where end users can directly engage with them, via user generated video content.
It is the brainchild of Raj K Gopalakrishnan & Bindiya Murgai who have also co-founded and led multiple media ventures including Blue Mango Films , Zeppelin Design and Firefly Entertainment. Raj has rich experience in marketing and content development of over two decades, and his previous ventures have been deeply engaged with technology.

This video content flows into an organizations portal, app or platform, whilst giving complete approval, moderation and ownership rights.
What motivated us to start up?
Being in the media domain for over 2 decades, we realised that the holy grail of branded user generated content has never been harnessed due to the lack of options to do so. It was an exciting opportunity to create a revolutionary platform that could not only address this but also make it easy and engaging for end users.
At the end of the day, if end users don’t engage, then the platform is ineffective. So while we built a solution for enterprise and government, we built it keep the end-user of our customer in mind.
Video is also the clearest form of communication. Even if one cannot read or write, if they know how to press a button (record), they can yellout!
So we were building a B2B2C platform, which is a both a creative and tech adrenaline rush
What's in a name?
Everytime some one makes a video, they want to share it on social media, chats and groups. They want to scream, shout and share to let the world know what they have made.
That intense feeling and urge could only be described in one word - YELLOUT. It was a no brainer. If you have something to say on video - just Yellout!
How do we see Social Media?
Social Media is firmly here to stay and will only get further enmeshed into our everyday lives. And as this happens, social media interaction will start veering more towards video making it the mainstay form of communication. The video trend has already begun and we believe that Yellout will accelerate it.

It’s just been 2 months and we can share few names who are on board - Kolkata Knight Riders are using Yellout for video engagement campaigns with their fans in the ongoing IPL. Thousands of fans can now create videos and engage with the team on KKR’s Fanzone. Apart from KKR, Galgotias University and The Egg Factory feature among the brands who have adopted Yellout.
Our biggest challenge was…
The biggest challenge we faced during our beta and initial customer adoption phases was the fact that this is a new category. Therefore, this required us to educate the market about how they can truly harness the power of user generated video on their terms. We are perhaps creating one of the largest shifts in the video space that does not adhere to existing platforms and practices.

Our What The **** Moment
In one of our brainstorming sessions, which is essentially the team goofing around with crazy, silly and stupid ideas alongside copious amount of food, we had sort of reached an impasse. One team member just stood up and let out a frustrated scream at the top of his voice, only to be responded with the dialogue from Sholay “Chilao… aur Chilao”… and everybody said “That’s it… that’s what it should be… people should Yellout!”
Industry as we foresee
I think in India especially, video will take over social media completely. Given the number of languages, dialects, demographics and cultural diversity, the written form will be forced to give way to the visual form. Video is the new voice and Yellout will be there to ensure that everybody is heard.
