Some of the most memorable experiences in life are formed by things we do with our friends, family and our loved ones, together. Why not do chores together, asks Indesit with The Hero Dad.
Titled, The Hero Dad, depicting the daily activities of a family from breakfast to dinner, the video shows a man wake up before everyone else at home, fix the meals and do everything else around the house for the entire before eventually leaving for work himself.
In a nearly two minute long video, the video manages to pose a question that perhaps none of the viewers may have expected. Would it be a big deal, if the woman of the house was shown doing all these chores?
Without being condescending or overly preachy, J. Walter Thompson did it beautifully, gently yet strongly, urging partners to share responsibilities and #DoItTogether.
The campaign immediately takes us back to Ariel's #ShareTheLoad video, which showed the wife doing chores (while her husband sits around), similar in 'The Hero Dad' while her dad feels responsible for making patriarchy trivial for her little princess.
Created and conceptualized by J. Walter Thompson Milan the campaign is created for the UK market? Would you consider it inspired from #ShareTheLoad? Let us know your thoughts on the comments below.
