Makar Sankranti Bihu, Pongal and Lohri posts dominated social media as brands wished consumers with colourful creatives and happy messages
As the entire India celebrated the beautiful occasion of Makar Sankranti, Bihu, Pongal and Lohri, which marks the beginning of the season of harvest, brands too were seen engaging with their audience on social media.
While, brands like McDonald's India, Maaza India, Reliance Fresh, HDFC Bank, Parle G, Tata Sky and others kept it simple by sending good wishes to their customers, Jaipur Police, and Rajasthan Police on the other hand asked customers to be careful while flying kites and not to hurt animals in their jest to celebrate the festival. Mumbai Police who is known for their wittiness on social media, kept it simple this time, wishing everyone Makar Sankranti.
