As day two of Cannes Lions 2018 kickstarted today, shortlists were announced for Film Craft, Digital Craft, Industry Craft, The Brand Experience & Activation, Creative eCommerce, Entertainment and the Entertainment for Music Lions categories.
A total of 18 digital entries from India bagged shortlists in five categories while no Indian work was placed in Digital Craft and Entertainment Lions.
The Cannes Lions 2018 shortlists entries are as follows:
The newly introduced Brand Experience and Activation Lions category saw four India shortlists– DDB Mudra Group Mumbai’s ‘Project Free Period’ for Stayfree Sanitary Pads bagged two shortlists.
FCB India’s Sindoor Khela - No Conditions Apply for Times of India got one shortlist
Oglivy India's The Vodafone Sakhi campaign done for Vodafone India secured one shortlist
Entertainment Lions for Music category saw DDB Mudra being the only Indian agency to secure its place twice in the shortlisted entries for its work namely Suede Gully for Puma Suede Classic Shoes.
In the Industry Craft Lions category, CreativelandAsia bagged four shortlists - two each for Madhubani and Pattachitra for Mercedes Benz India.

Film Craft Lions has 6 shortlists from India- Early Man Films’ ‘The Story of Kaveri’ got shortlisted thrice in the category.
Madhya Pradesh Tourism bagged 2 shortlists for its World’s Most Honest Tourism Film.
JWT India’s ‘Times Spark: A Salam to Kalam’ campaign for The Times of India –– got one shortlist.
Creative eCommerce Lions saw McCann Worldgroup India’s Sweet Change campaign for Paytm getting shortlisted.
