A few days after learning that Instagram is testing a feature that will show how much time its users spends on the app daily, it has been found now that it’s parent company Facebook is following suit with Your Time on Facebook.
With social media being at the core of everything we do nowadays, it is difficult to gauge the amount of time we spend surfing the internet including various applications. In order to let it’s users know exactly how much of their time goes to the Facebook app, the social media giant has updated itself and is experimenting on a new feature called Your Time on Facebook. It shows users how much time they have spent on the app over the previous seven days, Facebook has confirmed the Your Time on Facebook feature to TechCrunch.

The Your Time on Facebook feature was first spotted by Jane Manchun Wong who also posted a few screenshots about the development on her Twitter account.

Previously YouTube and Instagram have also released time management features for the users to help them in manage and control their time spent on navigating through the apps. With Your Time on Facebook, the social media giant seems to be attempting to give more control in the hands of the users by making them more self aware.
