If various reports are to believed, Facebook is following Instagram’s footsteps of making your favourite stories live with you forever in the form of Facebook Stories Highlights.
After letting you repost and reshare one of your best past memories, the social media giant will soon begin testing the Facebook Stories highlights feature which can allow you to thread your stories even if they disappear on the main story tab after 24 hours. But the Highlights will last long on your Facebook app.

The news about the development has been confirmed by Facebook to TechCrunch which reported that the new feature will let you pick your favorite expired photos and videos, compile them into themed collections with titles and cover images and display them on your profile.
While Instagram Stories Highlights has been a hit with its users, Facebook Stories section grabbed less eyeballs. Lets see if this feature lets more users to cherish their stories on Facebook.
