Instagram Poll Stickers has a new update, allowing users to poll in their Direct Messages, making the conversations more engaging.
Instagram believes in community building and recently is making cautious efforts to make it's Direct Messaging feature more interactive and communicative. Last month the platform updated the app showing active friends on the app, facilitating more DM conversations.
With the latest update, the platform allows users to send customized polls to their friends or groups they want an opinion from and check the results. Instagram took to Twitter to announce the update stating that- Starting today, you can send a poll privately in Direct. Update your app to choose who you want to poll – whether it’s everyone in a big group thread or just your very best friend. Update your app now to try it!

In October 2017, the popular photo-sharing app had launched it’s polls features and has been constantly updating it by adding various options like Emoji reactions. This July it also added ‘Ask Questions’ in stories in an attempt to increase user engagement on the app and help brands analyze what the consumer wants.
