Five months after removing the standalone group app, LinkedIn is now mulling over integrating the LinkedIn Groups feature into it's main app.
The professional networking site, in it's constant efforts to engage more consumers onto the platform has finally learnt how to merge the groups option. In a recent announcement exclusive to some of LinkedIn Groups' power users; Linkedin shared that Groups will appear within their iOS and Android apps by the end of the month. It has also been learnt that the platform will be updating it with some new features like sharing and posting videos and threaded replies.
Following the functioning of other similar apps, Linkedin's group conversations will appear in the user's main feed and will also notify the user on any activity.
LinkedIn had created an altogether different application for 'Groups' on iOS in 2015 and got it removed this year in February facing difficulties in keeping it updated.
