Months after Instagram launched it’s music feature into stories in some countries, Snapchat has now updated itself to allow it's users to send Snapchat musical GIFs to their chats and stories.
The company has integrated with third-party service TuneMoji to help snapchatters play around some music on the app and what better combination than a GIF and music with Snapchat musical GIFs. To enable the feature, you need to have both TuneMoji and Snapchat apps downloaded on your device. The TuneMoji app allows to to search for different GIFs and add a song or tune to it. Like BitMoji, you can share the created musical GIF to different messaging platforms including Snapchat.
However, you will not able to share the GIF with Snapchat app kept open and within it. TuneMoji is also reportedly in talks with Whatsapp and Instagram for similar integration. This is Snap’s first partnership after it made the much awaited Snap Kit available to developers in June 2018.
