YouTube recently made 99 Hollywood blockbusters 'Free to Watch' to its users with ad-supported videos.
For what has been the longest wait for ardent YouTube users, it’s newest update has brought a few popular Hollywood movies for free on the platform albeit ads accompanying them.
In an alleged bid to counter the speedy growth of OTT Platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime Videos, YouTube can now be added to your free movie streaming sites list for the movie experience is coming for no cost. According to a Google spokesperson, though the ‘free to watch’ feature was added to the platform in October, people have started noticing it in recent times.

“The movies come courtesy of its partnerships with major Hollywood studios, and honestly, the roster of free stuff to watch looks pretty great! Some of the more notable titles include Igor, many of the Rocky films, The Terminator, Saved, and Hackers. Don’t expect to see anything super new, but the selection (so far) features a mix of blockbuster hits and cult favorites,” according to a Gizmodo report.
The 99 movies made available for free if of more good to YouTube premium subscribes as they will be able to stream the videos without any ad interruption.
