Looking back, where did it all begin?
Marriage brought me back to Mumbai from where my professional career had started. It came as a wonderful opportunity for introspection to decide whether to maintain the status quo or to try something more aligned with my interests. I eventually decided to hit the pause button and reset my professional life. I have always been expressive in thoughts and draw immense satisfaction in penning them down in words. This passion for writing, the insane love for food, interest in creativity and photography gave birth to Savory Tales, my food blog.

What is your USP in this cluttered space? How does your content give you an edge?
Creative Content is the USP of my feed. I try to incorporate my creativity in my content making; with food styling and video creation; which garner a lot of appreciation from my audience. This creative twist gives me an edge in this cluttered space.

Please take us through your content creation process. How do you stay relevant and relatable?
At the beginning of the month, I do the research around the kinds of posts that I plan to create or cook. The research phase is followed by execution. I try to plan, shoot and schedule the post as per occasion, festival or by using the seasonal fruits and veggies so that the posts are relevant and relatable.

How do you maintain editorial objectivity with the influx of brand briefs?
It starts with the decision to pursue an assignment with XYZ brand. The decision is largely governed by the relevance of the assignment to my audience and my conviction in the brand. I do not work with brands if I am not convinced myself. I always give my suggestions to brands so that I can maintain the tone of my page and integrate the brand briefs as well.
One instance/experience that made it all worthwhile
There would be many. Getting featured is always special, but getting Featured as one of the Top 21 Food Bloggers of India and Top 20 North Indian Food Blogalongsidede some of my personal favorite bloggers would definitely be worthy of a mention amongst the others.
Also, each and every appreciative message from my audiences makes all the effort and experience worthwhile.

Weirdest brand brief/request ever
Oh! There are many and they keep coming. Once a brand wanted me to blog, make a video, click a well styled picture of their product in exchange of 1 liter of Milk :P
If not blogging, you would be?
As of now, I can't think of any better, interesting alternative :). Introspectively speaking, if not blogging, it could have been an illustrator, following my interest in art/drawing,

A day in your life....
My day starts with checking my Instagram (Haha !)After doing the daily chores, then I do whatever is planned for the day, be it shooting recipes or video making. After which I complete the previous blog posts or video editing.
I love spending some time on Pintrest and read articles that I find interesting.

Your Favorite Influencer
I am always amused to see amazingly talented people around and get to learn a lot from all of them. If I have to name a few, although there are many, Deeba from PassionateaboutBaking and Shivesh from BakewithShivesh would feature in my favorites.
The Future you foresee for your Personal Brand
There is so much to learn and a long way to go. India has a rich food diversity and I definitely would like to explore more Indian regional cuisines and talk about it so that I can make more people aware of them. Create some amazing and creative content so that people recognize me as a Food Artist.
