91mobiles.com, the gadget discovery website has recently announced the appointment of Prajwalita Borah as AVP – Marketing and Business Development.
She has worked with Snapdeal, CEB (now Gartner) and McKinsey & Company previously, and brings 10+ years of experience in marketing and content.
At Snapdeal, Prajwalita was heading B2B communication and was responsible for managing the brand voice of the company across seller touch points. Her role required her to drive communication campaigns across seller segments for key sales opportunities, with a strong focus on bottom line. She played a focal role in driving awareness and uptake of Snapdeal’s seller ads platform (a platform where sellers could invest money to boost the visibility of their products on Snapdeal) through focused communication programs and internet marketing.
At 91mobiles, Prajwalita will work with Nitin Mathur, Co-founder, 91mobiles to execute marketing programs that will help drive competitive advantage for 91mobiles.com. Her key responsibility as an Assistant Vice President at the company will include helping brands and the advertising and media fraternity appreciate the unique value and insights that 91mobiles bring to the table vis-a-vis its competitors. Prajwalita will also contribute actively in establishing 91mobiles as the most preferred site for gadget enthusiasts.
