Instagram is testing an option allowing users to make the collection of the posts they save from their feed.
Jane Manchun Wong, discovered this feature in Instagram for Android code. The Instagram Make Collection Public feature is touted an extension of the option to save your favorite posts. With the new feature, you can exhibit your saved posts as a collection.

You will also be able to "Add Contributors" to your Collection. This may mean tagging the source of the posts you've saved. You also have the option to delete your collection.
Instagram told TechCrunch “we’re not testing this”. If and when this feature is rolled out, any user choosing to make their collection public would be a direct competition to any of the content curators on the platform.

Along with influencers, creators, brands, etc. Instagram also holds a number of pages curating content that have a huge following and gain high engagement. This feature's roll out might change the trajectory of the platform.
Also, Pinterest, a platform based on exhibiting a collection could be in peril.
Additionally, Instagram is continuing paving the path to boost IGTV's growth, by testing Picture-in-Picture for IGTV. The feature would let you view IGTv outside the app too.
