Acknowledging the magnitude of this national event, brands are emerging with campaigns that are subjected around the theme. Explaining, educating and informing their viewers about this occurence.
The Elections are a hot topic on Social Media too. Twitter recorded 45.6 million Tweets related to the Lok Sabha Elections from 11th March 2019, the day elections were announced, until 11th April 2019. Campaigns, manifestos, and announcements around policies and key social issues have been accounted for.
Elections campaigns this year predominantly are urging viewers to vote, and millennials and the youth has been the primary target.
Samsonite used an instance, many of us would be familiar with; migrating to another city for professional reasons and having to travel back to cast a vote.
