LinkedIn introduces displaying services on Profile

LinkedIn is introducing a new LinkedIn Profile Display feature that would display the services you offer on your profile, letting clients discover you easily.

The LinkedIn Profile Display feature would help you indicate that you are open for business.

How to make this update?

-Visit your profile, if the feature is turned on for you, you'll see a box under your profile picture displaying your services.

-Click "Add Services" and then fill out the form providing details about your services.

-Tap "continue" and the details would be added to your profile.

How will this feature help you?

You will show up on search results for relevant service providers when you add services to your profile. Members will be able to filter general LinkedIn searches for service providers.

Once, you show up in a member's search results, they can also message you to inquire about your services. For instance, if you've added "Accounting" to your services then you would show up on a members' search result.

This feature is rolling out to small business leaders and freelancers who have a Premium Business subscription in the US. It would be available to more small business leaders and freelancers soon.
