Snapchat has introduced a feature that lets you edit your face into short, looping video templates that you can send to friends in Chat.
As a part of the update, users can basically insert their selfies into GIFs, video templates, and more and share it with your friends. Snapchat Cameos is rolling out on iOS and Android in the coming weeks and has over 150 cameos users can choose from, and also ahs the option to customize captions.
The platform is bolstering on the initial thought with which the app was built on - keeping communication between friends fun and real and not giving in to the idea of the perfect 'digital personality'.

Cameos is a fun new way to express yourself, whether you’re feeling excited, exhausted, or just want to bother your friend because you're bored.
The Snapchat Cameos button can be found in your Chat Sticker Bar. You can make a cameo by taking a selfie and choosing a scene you'd like to jump into. You can also co-star with your friend in two-person Cameos.
Along with, amplifying monetization on the platform with new and improved ads, Snapchat is also pioneering new and innovative ways to express oneself.
Recently, they also introduced 3D Camera Mode that adds depth to your Snaps and new 3D Effects.
