Looking back, where did it all begin? 

My favourite part about school was summer vacations! My family knew the importance of unwinding in a place different from where you go about your daily routine, so we'd always visit a new place each time. Growing up, I realised that there was more I wanted to see in the world than family holidays allowed. I wanted to plan my own travels and go where my heart yearned to. What better way to look back and smile than well-photographed travel diaries!

What's in the name? 

It all started with my trip to Kasol with friends. We were lost trekking to Kheerganga and were figuring out the right way. That's when my friend made a funny comment that stuck like a travel bug in my mind.

"We'll always go where Shreya goes."

It was like a light bulb went on in my head! It's simple, straightforward, and it's about me. If people want to know where I go, this is how they'll know

What is your USP in this cluttered space? How does your content give you an edge? 

Since I’m currently a student, most of my travels are very budget-friendly. I am my own target audience!

Please take us through your content creation process. How do you stay relevant and relatable?

My content captures great ideas for simple yet memorable weekend destinations because let’s be real, you can’t go on your big dream holiday each time if you're a frequent explorer like me. People are always on the lookout for short and sweet getaways, so I guess the details that I post would only help them plan it out that way. Even when I take longer vacations, I make sure to post all the details about it.

How do you make moolah with your efforts?

This originated as such a personal endeavour that it was never about making a living out of this. I feel like the greatest reward I get is when someone tells me that my itineraries and planning has helped them enjoy a budget vay-cay!

How do you maintain editorial objectivity with the influx of brand briefs?

Thankfully, being my own boss takes care of that!

One instance/experience that made it all worthwhile

People ask for my itineraries all the time. But only a few make it to that destination. When they send pictures to me saying that they visited a certain place and had the most memorable time ever, is when I think it’s worth it.

Being a marketer by profession, I think I was made for the blogosphere.

A day in your life… 

I work part-time but I’m a full-time student pursuing my Master’s degree. So, most of my time goes in working on the assignments or attending lectures, which makes it all the more fun when I unwind on Instagram, planning my next vacation or double-tapping dog videos.

Message/tips for upcoming bloggers

Keep it simple and real. Overthinking about it will only spoil it. And also, you won’t be able to please everyone in the world but as long as you’re happy and content with what you are doing, you should be good to go.

There are many but from India, I would say Savi and Vid from Bruised Passports since they do touristy things but also go to off-beat places and share their honest experiences.
