Being connected to audiences and staying true to them is something Pratishtha Singh feels is a content creator's responsibility.

For an influencer, it is a matter of accomplishment to be linked to a certain category of content. Since Pratishtha Singh has been focussing on styling and har videos, she feels overwhelmed every time she gets a kind message of appreciation about her work around styling tips.

It feels great when people visit your recommended places and shops. Words of appreciation like — I would love to get styled by you or Please post more hair videos — act as a fuel to my passion.

Looking back, where did it all begin?

I never actually planned it out or anything. One day, I was sitting with my mom, who suggested I should give it a try and I thought, "Why not?" It wasn't planned but I enjoy doing this.

What’s in the name?

Name matters to me a lot. I didn't want it to be very random so decided to go ahead with a mix of style and my Sun sign. The page is my space to share my style: thatlibranstyleblog.

What is your USP in this cluttered space? How does your content give you an edge?

I always try to present neat and quality work. Being connected with your audience and staying true to them is something I feel is a content creator's responsibility.

Please take us through your content creation process. How do you stay relevant and relatable?

I keep a mini notebook handy and keep jotting down ideas to work on. I have also started putting up videos on Instagram to expand video content on display. It helps me connect my audiences on Instagram with that on YouTube. I am still learning and working to be more and more relevant.

How do you make moolah with your efforts?

Earnings happen through collaborations and affiliate marketing. However, sadly, earnings are not regular here.

How do you maintain editorial objectivity with the influx of brand briefs?

I am very picky about collaborations and I make sure that whatever I do, it's only after thoroughly using the product.

One instance/experience that made it all worthwhile

It feels great when people visit your recommended places and shops. Words of appreciation like — I would love to get styled by you or Please post more hair videos — act as a fuel to my passion.

Weirdest brand brief/request ever

I haven't yet come across any.

If not blogging, you would be?

I am actually a fashion entrepreneur as well. I run an online venture catering to fashion accessories and pursuing both things together happily.

A day in your life…

I am an early riser and my days are usually very productive. I have realised it is very important to equally take care of your body and soul and so, I meditate before starting my workday at about 10 am.

Message/tips for upcoming bloggers.

It is important to be consistent and doing what you love and loving what you do. Be creative, know the latest trends, from editing apps to story ideas. Lastly, don't stress and never compare your journey to somebody else's.
