#ComeOnNetflix - What's the secret?

Netflix India has finally let the cat out of the bag and unveiled the truth behind #ComeOnNeflix that trended for hours on Twitter and Instagram.

It all started when celebrity videos took over social media talking about Netflix India holding on to a secret and convincing the platform to reveal it soon. Adding up to the curiosity were different speculations about the trend where netizens predicted the premiere of a big-budget Bollywood movie, a set of new original launches, an India-specific feature or price pack, and so on.

From Anil Kapoor punching it out in the video calling it as the time for the battle of the best to Swara Bhaskar, Yami Gautam, Bhumi Pedneker, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kajol, Pankaj Tripathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and more BTown personalizes raising the inquisitiveness and leaving people baffled for a moment.

The campaign finally culminated with Netflix India announcing the rollout of 17 original titled on the platform-  including six new films and two new series. From thrillers to romantic comedies to lighthearted dramas in the coming months. 

The OTT giant leveraged every small-big artist and actors starring in the original films and series to spread awareness about the much-awaited announcement and amplify the message across Twitter and Instagram. According to the hashtag analytics platform, TrackMyHashtag, #ComeOnNetflix had a potential reach of 41544 with 88361 potential impressions and about 100 tweets.

Since there has been constant chatter about how Netflix did not go behind the star power and big Bollywood faces for the line-up but has a mix of popular faces and social media content creators like Dolly Singh and Prajakta Koli too.

The six new additions to Netflix films include - multi-starrer Ludo, Torbaaz, Raat Akeli Hai, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, Ginny Weds Sunny and award-winning animated romance film Bombay Rose.

Apart from the above, the upcoming slate of Netflix films includes Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Tribhanga - Tedhi Medhi Crazy, Kaali Khuhi Serious Men, Class Of ’83, and  AK vs AK. Joining them is the new original series block including Mismatched,  A Suitable Boy,  Masaba Masaba, Bombay Begums, and Bhaag Beanie Bhaag.
