Focussing on the emotions of a brother who wishes to meet his sister on Rakshabandhan, the Ferns N Petals campaign talks about the need for social distancing for safety.
End of July and stepping into the month of August fills everyone with excitement as the most awaited festival of brothers and sisters is about to kick-off. This Rakshabandhan, Ferns N Petals coined its latest campaign Nok-Jhonk Bandhan with an aim to celebrate the sweet-sour relationship between siblings and how it transforms over the years. The ad film also takes a look at their frustrations at being away from each other year, due to the COVID-19 related travel restrictions.
Extending the scope of the campaign over social media, the brand has curated a set of digital assets around #NokJhokBandhan. These include creatives, contests and unboxing videos on various social media platforms. The brand is using these to showcase their festive offerings and ease of access and usage of their e-commerce platform.

Explaining the campaign idea, Manish Saini, COO, e-commerce, Ferns N Petals says, "With our brand new Rakshabandhan campaign, we are trying to showcase that fights, teasing, competing and kicking are part and parcel of all the love, that every sibling carries forward with their lives. The enduring years of fights for silly things like who gets a bigger share or who is the most favourite of Mom and Dad are the most common teasing between siblings. With growing years, the same innocent fights turn into abysmal love for each other and the bond gets stronger despite all casual and serious indifferences. Hence the campaign, Nonk-Jhonk Bandhan."
