Instagram has propelled further to boost the creation of Reels on the platform with the new feature to interact with the audience with visual replies to comments on Reels.
The feature would be particularly helpful for content creation based on audience feedback or taking requests. The new format for interactive content would also enable creators to highlight their loyal viewer base and certain types of content favored by them. Creators can tap the camera icon when they reply to a comment with Reel and create the post as usual with the available video editing tools.
The platform is steadily supporting the growing popularity of Reels with complementary and monetizing features. Recently, Instagram enabled Reels to feature products with shoppable tags through which users can be redirected to a shopping tab, where they find product info and continue the purchase.
Along with the caption, users on Instagram would now also see a ‘View Product’ option while viewing Reels, which would show the product(s) featured in the video, and the users can carry on shopping.
Instagram has also launched insights for Reels, showing new metrics including Plays, Accounts Reached, Likes, Comments, Saves, and Shares.
