Snapchat+ launches new exclusive features for paid subscribers

Snapchat+, the premium subscription service by Snap Inc has released a slate of new features that would enable the subscribers to customize their experience.

Snapchat+ is a paid subscription service that enables users to access pre-release features and prioritized support. Priced at regional currency rates on a monthly basis, the service by Snap Inc is currently available in select countries, including India.

Exclusive and experimental features that have not been widely rolled out to all users would be available to Snapchat+ users. Previously, features rolled out in the testing phase were selectively available to a group of users in specific geographies, mainly the US, but going forward these features would be available to subscribed users.

Snapchat+ is priced at 49 INR in India, equivalent to 62 cents (USD). Launched over six weeks ago, Snapchat+ currently has over a million paying subscribers until now.

Here are the new Snapchat+ features:

Priority Story Replies: Your replies will be more visible to Snap Stars, prominent creators, and personalities on Snapchat.

Post View Emoji: This is a signature way to sign off the Snaps, users can pick an emoji they want friends to see after they view the Snaps.

Bitmoji Backgrounds: Users can customize their Bitmoji background with special backgrounds such as gleaming gold or a beach paradise.

New App Icons: Change up the home screen Snapchat app icon with new designs.
