Siemens Limited celebrates 170 years of Indian Railways with #PartnersInProgress campaign 

To commemorate the 170th anniversary, the campaign recalls the tale of Indian Railways, which spans across the nation and touches every Indian.

Siemens Limited launched a campaign to drive awareness about the role of Mobility in people’s lives. Siemens’ campaign features photographs of miniature trains showcasing solutions for freight, and passenger railways and how it is revolutionizing transportation in India, helping the country move beyond.

The campaign included building a holistic story of Indian Railways through a process of storyboarding, sourcing and building elements, creating a set that connects the real and surreal.

This is a concept where they created and used little figurines that give a life-like appearance but also maintain toy Lego-like features that built a sense of intrigue. The campaign highlighted the Indian Railway story through a detailed process of storyboarding, sourcing, and building elements to create an entire set that connects the real and surreal.

‘Rail ki Gati, Yatri ki Garima aur Desh ki Pragati’ has been the mission and vision of Indian Railways, and Siemens Mobility India highlighted how they are mobilizing India by enabling rail transport for social well-being and economic development. 

A series of animated videos with the theme "Wheels Of Progress" were also released, providing viewers with the first glimpse of the historic 9000 HP Electric Locomotive in operation.

The miniature campaign is Siemens’ tribute to Indian Railways, and we are doing so by showcasing unique miniature-styled mainline, metro and freight trains. For the past seven decades, Siemens has been a partner in progress for Indian Railways, providing cutting-edge technologies and solutions to power sustainable growth including its latest offering, the 9000 HP electric locomotives.
