Prior to Bajaj Auto, Warrier was the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Alco-bev company Diageo India for three years and has held senior leadership positions at PepsiCo.
Former CMO of Diageo India, Deepika Warrier has now joined Bajaj Auto as Head of Marketing. The seasoned marketer took to LinkedIn to announce the development.
With more than 28 years of experience, Warrier has worked with PepsiCo India for two decades where she held several senior leadership positions including CEO and MD of NourishCo Beverages, a Pepsico-Tata Global Beverages JV.
She has been responsible for working on strategic innovation projects and scaling brands like Doritos and Cheetos for PepsiCo’s food business in Mexico.
In 2010, Warrier was given the responsibility to head beverage marketing and became the first official to head marketing of both foods and beverages for the company in 2014.

After gaining extensive experience, she joined Diageo India in July 2020. As she moves on to a new journey, she expressed her thoughts on working at the alco-bev company by saying, “In the past three years, I’ve learned the power of progressive marketing, truly walking the talk on inclusion and diversity, embedding sustainability meaningfully in our brands, and bringing our powerful global brands and categories to India.
